Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct repairs maintenance and upgrades of fire sprinkler systems including replacing faulty components.
- Troubleshoot and repair non-functional fire alarms aiming to restore them to optimal functionality.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance with all electrical and fire safety codes.
- Provide on-site education to clients about preventative care and regular maintenance of systems to avoid malfunctions.
- Maintain operational status of tools and equipment through regular maintenance troubleshooting and keeping up with necessary supplies.
- Generate detailed accurate and legible reports of completed tasks.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry changes and code requirements.
- Perform additional duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated capability in servicing and managing fire protection system tasks.
- Solid experience with fire pumps preaction systems backflows and FM200 systems.
- Proven track record in servicing FM200 and Fire Sprinkler Systems including installation troubleshooting and repairs in customer-centric environments.
- Proficiency in handling sprinkler head repairs water shutoff for repairs and confident customer interactions.
- Reliable mode of transportation.
- Physical ability to lift equipment up to 80 pounds.
- Construction background beneficial but not mandatory.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- Willingness to work under diverse conditions.
- Skilled in ladder climbing and working on lifts.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Attention to detail.
Job Requirements:
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid drivers license with a clean MVR.
- Ability to pass background and drug tests.
- Capability to carry and maneuver tools and equipment weighing 50-70 lbs.
- Ability to work in various conditions including heights crawl spaces and above ceilings.
