Job Description

A leading name in the Consumer Products industry is seeking a skilled and driven HR Generalist to join its manufacturing facility in Indianapolis IN. This is a high-impact highly visible role where youll support core HR functions and help shape the employee experience across the plant.

As the HR Generalist youll work closely with the site HR leader corporate HR teams and cross-functional departments to ensure smooth execution of HR programs compliance initiatives and employee relations strategies. Youll be empowered to bring fresh ideas foster collaboration and contribute to a culture of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support to assigned departments including employee relations labor relations terminations benefits and organizational development
  • Assist in implementing and administering HR policies training programs and compliance initiatives
  • Lead HR efforts in areas such as EEO unemployment litigation retention turnover and severance
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Staffing Compensation Payroll Benefits Finance and Legal
  • Support diversity and inclusion efforts and ensure compliance with EEO/AAP regulations
  • Help drive employee engagement and contribute to company growth through strong HR practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a unionized setting is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and levels

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $67000 $93000
  • 8% annual bonus
