Our client is looking for a skilled Sonographer to carry out diagnostic ultrasound examinations with a strong emphasis on service quality patient care efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures in line with the standards outlined in the SOP.
- Verify patient identity obtain necessary consents and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Produce accurate ultrasound reports and ensure proper documentation of all records.
- Safeguard the patients safety comfort and emotional well-being throughout the procedure.
- Take part in on-call or after-hours duties when required ensuring timely response in accordance with hospital standards.
- Perform daily quality assurance checks on ultrasound equipment as per manufacturer guidelines to maintain optimal performance.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Competent in full-body ultrasound including vascular and musculoskeletal scans.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Applied Science (Radiography) or a Diploma in Radiography from a recognized institution or equivalent qualification.
- Member of a relevant professional body locally or overseas.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience as a Sonographer.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including telephone and public relations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and spoken English with an additional language preferred.
- Familiarity with PACS systems.
- Prior working experience in Singapore is required.
