The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant for a contractual opportunity with a duration of 12 months located in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting chance for professionals with a passion for data governance to contribute to our organizations success. You will play a pivotal role in implementing governance policies and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.
Conduct maturity assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of current data governance practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Stay informed about NDMO standards and compliance requirements to enhance governance initiatives.
Provide support and training to staff on data governance principles and practices.
Monitor and report on compliance with data governance policies and procedures.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data governance including experience in the implementation of governance policies and compliance.
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or a related field.
Experience with data governance policies compliance and maturity assessments is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with data governance tools and technologies.
