Job Description

Job Title: Data Governance Analyst

Location: Atlanta GA

Work Mode: Hybrid (50%) Thursday to Wed office ( Alternate weeks)

No of positions: 3

JD for Data Governance Analyst:

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks including policies standards and processes to ensure consistent data management and compliance across the organization.
  • Drive data confidence and usability by improving processes related to data quality access control and fit-for-purpose definitions enabling informed business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as Architecture Privacy Compliance Security and Business Owners to align governance practices with data and business strategies.
  • Champion adoption and change management by building executive support fostering relationships and ensuring governance practices are effectively implemented and sustained.
  • Leverage tools such as data catalogs (e.g. Alation Collibra AWS DataZone) to enhance discoverability metadata management and data asset governance.
  • Demonstrate impact through measurable wins like reducing time to access/use data enabling repeatable processes and supporting business objectives through improved governance practices.
  • Good to have basic understanding of SQL experience and knowledge of various DQ dimensions
