The Role
Were looking for a seasoned MongoDB Specialist to design manage and optimize high-availability database systems. This is a senior role that requires hands-on experience with MongoDB administration performance tuning and data modeling. Youll work closely with developers and infrastructure teams to ensure the database environment is secure scalable and resilient.
The Requirements
- Were seeking candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
- Solid experience as a MongoDB Developer DBA or Administrator
- Expert-level knowledge of MongoDB querying aggregation pipelines indexing and advanced performance tuning
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB Atlas Ops Manager or Compass
- Proficient in replication sharding and NoSQL data modeling
- Skilled in managing MongoDB clusters (e.g. replica sets sharded clusters)
- Familiarity with backup restore and disaster recovery processes
- Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments and scripting with Bash Python or JavaScript
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills
- Nice to Have:
- MongoDB Certifications (e.g. Certified Developer or DBA)
- Exposure to other databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL or Redis
- Understanding of Docker Kubernetes or DevOps methodologies
