POSITION SUMMARY:
Were seeking a WA EL02 Licensed Residential Electrician to support our Service Department. This position is preferred for electricians with solar rooftop experience who are comfortable with both ground-based and rooftop aspects of solar installations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on troubleshooting solving unique problems and working independently in the field.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform post-installation service work on residential solar PV systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components inverters monitoring systems and storage.
- Conduct warranty work and preventive maintenance inspections.
- Complete rooftop service tasks including racking wiring and module replacement.
- Work safely at heights on ladders and on pitched roofs in all weather conditions.
- Collaborate with project managers and communicate directly with homeowners.
- Document all service activity clearly and thoroughly.
- Train and mentor apprentices promoting best practices in quality and safety.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- WA EL02 Residential Specialty Electrical License.
- Rooftop solar experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical roofing and building systems.
- Comfortable blending electrical and physical rooftop work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs work in attics/crawl spaces and operate power tools.
