Job Description

Are you a fluent Hebrew speaker with a passion for online communities and a keen eye for detail Do you want to help create a safe and positive online environment for millions of users worldwide Join our dynamic multicultural team in Portugal as a Remote Hebrew-Speaking Content Moderator. This is a full-time remote position but you must be a resident of Portugal to be considered.

The Project and Your Role

You will be part of a team working on one of the worlds most popular short-form video platforms. Your mission is to ensure that user-generated content in Hebrew adheres to community guidelines and policies helping to foster a creative fun and secure space for all users. We provide comprehensive paid training to set you up for success so prior experience is not required.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Review and Moderate Content: You will be responsible for reviewing a high volume of user-generated content in Hebrew including videos comments and profiles to ensure compliance with the platforms community guidelines and terms of service.
  • Identify and Escalate: You will proactively identify and flag content that violates our policies such as hate speech graphic violence misinformation or other inappropriate material. You will use your judgment to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Enforce Policies: You will apply our content policies consistently and fairly taking appropriate action on reported content to ensure a secure and positive user experience.
  • Stay Informed: You will keep up-to-date with evolving community standards and policies to ensure your moderation approach is relevant.

What Were Looking For

  • Native-level or Fluent Hebrew: You must have C2-level proficiency in Hebrew (written and spoken) to accurately understand and moderate content.
  • Good English Skills: You need at least a B2 level of English to communicate effectively with your international team and participate in training sessions.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous and sharp eye is crucial for identifying subtle policy violations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilience and Professionalism: The ability to handle sensitive and potentially disturbing content with discretion and professionalism is essential.
  • Adaptability: You should be able to learn quickly and adapt to new software tools and policy updates.
