The opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced professional for the role of Country Occupational Health and Wellbeing Advisor & this position will be based in Bengaluru.
How youll make an impact:
Conducting pre-employment fitness-for-work and return-to-work health assessments to ensure employees can perform their roles safely as well as annual health checks for employees
Monitoring employees exposed to risks such as noise vibration chemicals or other workplace hazards to detect early signs of work-related illness or injury
Advising employers on how to mitigate workplace health risks and comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Conducting pre-employment fitness-for-work and return-to-work health assessments to ensure employees can perform their roles safely
Developing programs to promote mental health stress management healthy lifestyles and overall employee wellbeing
Assisting in the creation and implementation of workplace health policies such as those addressing vaccinations or substance abuse.
Supporting individuals with health conditions or injuries coordinating their care and facilitating their return to work when appropriate
Mentor and coach team members to build Occupational health and wellbeing organizational capability
Provide work direction resource planning workload management prioritization of work and performance management.
Actively participate in HSE audits and implement corrective actions
Ensure safety and health compliance requirements
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background:
MBBS with AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health)
At least 10 - 12 years of relevant experience in industrial hygiene preferably in manufacturing industry with at least 2 to 3 years of clinical experience.
Knowledge of applicable regulatory industrial hygiene standards guidelines and best practices
Strong leadership communication and program management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
