Summary:
Performance of complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician for diagnosis treatment and prevention of disease. Ultrasound procedures can include: Transthoracic echocardiography ultrasound on neonatal pediatric and adult patients. Transesophageal echocardiography ultrasound on neonatal pediatric and adult patients. Fetal echocardiography ultrasound. These responsibilities will take place in clinic and hospital settings that include inpatient and outpatient. On call responsibilities will take place nights weekends and holidays.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a cardiac ultrasound program preferred.
- Experienced as an echocardiographer preferred.
- 1 year of pediatric experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
- Credentialed as a Registered Sonographer (RDC) or Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCSC) with Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) must be obtained within 2 years of hire date
OR - Certified as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
