The Role
As aSenior Accountant or Accountant you will:
- Prepare detailed financial position papers and monthly reports for the Warringah Freeway Upgrade
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis review key metrics and identify trends across project data
- Attend site visits to engage with commercial teams and understand project mechanics
- Support audit processes and liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and mentor junior finance staff
- Collaborate with legal and commercial teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards
Youll be part of a high-performing finance team based in North Sydney working closely with senior leaders and project stakeholders.
About You
- CA qualification and a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 6 years experience in financial or management accounting
- Audit background from a Big 4 or top-tier firm (first or second mover)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced project-driven environment
- Experience in construction accounting is a plus
