Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Complete the credentialed training program to learn Epic content and training techniques required to lead and manage new hire classes.
- Lead in-person classroom training sessions by utilizing the curricula lesson plans and other documents created by principal trainers for new hire training.
- Assist with maintaining or updating training content and materials based on approved changes Epic software updates Epic upgrades classroom experiences end user feedback etc.
- Perform other training related duties such as:
- Proactively rounds in clinical areas when not teaching classes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering business or related field required.
- Masters degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Experience in healthcare IT clinical operations and/or patient care and/or related is highly preferred.
- EHR credentialed trainer classroom training or other related training experience is desired but not required.
- Some experience and/or understanding of structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Some experience and/or understanding of identifying and documenting business IT problem statements application support business process design and/or technical documentation preferred.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets experience and training licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
