As a Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Identity and Access Management team you will play a crucial role in an agile team dedicated to enhancing building and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable manner. Your contributions and capabilities will promote significant business impact as you apply your deep technical expertise and problem-solving skills to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications. You will utilize your technical knowledge to solve complex issues influence product direction and create meaningful business impact all while promoting a culture of collaboration inclusion and respect.
Job responsibilities
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and high-quality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence the product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Advocate for best practices tools and frameworks across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
- Adds to the team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5 years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Advanced proficiency in Java REACT and RESTful APIdevelopment for scalable cloud-native distributed systems
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Expertise in automation CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.
- Full proficiency in SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience in Computer Science Computer Engineering Mathematics or a related technical field
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM)principles including authentication authorization and credential lifecycle management.
- Experience with secure credential vaults secrets management and federated identity solutions.
- Familiarity with standards such as OAuth2 OpenID Connect SAML and SCIM.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices threat modeling and vulnerability remediation.
