Key Responsibilities:- Oversee all aspects of contract conditions and project management.
- Ensure productive and profitable utilization of resources on site.
- Liaise with clients on project site matters to achieve objectives and requirements.
- Manage sub-contractors and workforce to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Plan manpower materials accommodation transport and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards (OHSA 16.2 & MHSA).
- Compile and review monthly progress claims costs and reports.
- Conduct site meetings and provide weekly reports to the Area Manager.
- Monitor capital expenditure and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Ensure timely project completion within budget and contract specifications.
- Maintain labour harmony and positive industrial relations.
- Co-ordinate design drawings and quality plans for the project.
Minimum Requirements:- Must be in possession of a Trade Test in Electrical.
- Further qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager on electrical and instrumentation projects within mining (essential).
- Strong track record in project management within the mining/construction sector.
- Ability to assess estimate and manage costs effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
