Job Description

MOTOR Ai is a Berlin-based deep-tech startup transforming the way autonomous driving works.

Tasks

  • Technical and operational leadership of the Decision Team including resource planning milestone definition and goal alignment in line with our quarterly product roadmap

  • Management and further development of internal areas related to active inference-based decision-making for autonomous systems

  • Research and innovation: development and evaluation of new decision-making models for autonomous mobility solutions

  • Quality management & results review including task reviews ensuring Asana hygiene and supporting team members

  • Team development & motivation: fostering a cooperative solution-oriented culture with ownership and commitment

  • Structured communication of relevant information to the entire team beyond just technical topics

  • Cross-functional collaboration with other team leads and management to identify and implement optimization measures

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science Robotics Artificial Intelligence Mathematics or a related field

  • Extensive expertise in the field of Active Inference

  • Several years of professional experience in autonomous driving AI or decision-making architectures

  • Initial or solid leadership experience you understand team dynamics as well as technology

  • Strong technical understanding of decision-making models probabilistic methods and software development

  • Excellent communication skills and a structured way of working

  • Fluent in both German and English

  • Willingness to work onsite
