Job Description

* Ideally local to Colorado but relocation candidates can work as well. Need to relocate in 2-3 weeks time.

* Must work on site 4 days/week starting from day 1

Must Haves:
o 7-10 years in cloud-native environments preferably AWS
o Typescript experience required
o Proven experience with AWS microservices and container orchestration
Experience with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

Core Technical Skills
AWS Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with:
o EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) critical; implies knowledge of:
Docker containers
Kubernetes
Microservices architecture
o Lambda
o CDK (Cloud Development Kit)
TypeScript: Must-have
OpenTelemetry: Understanding of:
o Exception tracking
o Latency measurement (spans)
o Integration with observability tools
Splunk or something similar: Required for integration; however experience with similar tools is acceptable if the candidate understands OpenTelemetry.

Nice-to-Haves
Python: Good to have but not required.
Terraform: Used for AWS deployments; familiarity is a plus.
Datadog: Monitoring tool; not required but beneficial.
