As a Software Engineer you will primarily focus on back-end development contributing to the maintenance and new feature development of our advertising technology platform Predict. You will work closely with a team of experienced engineers including the Principal Back-End Engineer and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi Utah.
What is a day in the life of an Entry-Level Software Engineer
- Primarily engage in back-end development with potential for some front-end development.
- Contribute to both maintenance (30-40%) and new feature development (60-70%).
- Participate in two-week sprints using ClickUp for project management.
- Collaborate with the product managers on sprint planning.
- Contribute to technical and product roadmaps.
- Have opportunities to learn and work with new technologies
What will I need to thrive in this role
- 3 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on back-end development.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails; experience with Python SQL Go ReactJS or Java is a plus.
- Proven ability to contribute to development projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance software development processes improve code quality and drive innovative solutions.
- Strong engineering fundamentals.
- Adaptability and a desire to learn.
