Job Description
This job posting describes a Certified OR Tech position in an acute care hospital setting. The role requires experience in various surgical specialties and involves scrubbing during surgical procedures. On-call responsibilities and floating to sister facilities are expected. A minimum of two years of experience is required and first-timers are not accepted.
- Responding to on-call requests within 30 minutes.
- Floating to outpatient surgery pavilion as needed.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Current BLS certification.
- National certification (NBSTSA or NCCT).
- Experience in scrubbing during surgical procedures.
- Ability to respond to on-call requests within 30 minutes.
- SPD experience.
- Outpatient surgical experience.
- Floating to sister facilities (including the Outpatient Surgery Pavilion) is required.
- 3x12 hour shifts.
- RTO (return to office) is required.
- 50-mile radius for local rate.
- Shift times vary Monday-Friday (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM 9:30 AM - 10:00 PM 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM) and weekends (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM).
- On-call responsibilities are included in the schedule.
- Block scheduling is not accommodated.
