This position entails being a member of our FAA 145 Repair Station. The candidate must possess the ability to perform maintenance on turbine-powered helicopters specifically concentrating on models such as the Bell 206 407 and 429 with a preference for those who have undergone factory training from Bell and Rolls-Royce.
Experience in track and balance methodologies is preferred. The role includes direct participation in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the helicopter fleet. The candidate should demonstrate a broad skill set possess strong troubleshooting abilities and exhibit a willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
A comprehensive understanding of FAA regulations accompanied by a customer-centric approach to problem resolution is essential. The candidate must present an enthusiastic demeanor paired with a professional style of communication. Experience with Bell helicopters and robust avionics troubleshooting skills are highly desirable.
**Job Requirements**
A high school diploma is mandatory while an Associates Degree or higher in Aviation Maintenance is preferred. An FAA Mechanics Certificate with an Airframe and Powerplant rating is required. A minimum of three years of experience within a helicopter maintenance environment is preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of avionics systems troubleshooting is desired. Strong computer proficiency including familiarity with CAMP Traxall Corridor Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and project management applications is also preferred. Proven project management skills are highly desirable.
Factory training from Bell and Rolls-Royce
Candidates must comply with and pass FAA-approved Anti-Drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Programs. Additionally U.S. Military Veterans are particularly valued in this position.
