What you will be doing:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Kitting Mechanic to join the Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) team based in Derby.
The Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility is 27000m2 with 550 employees and operational for 20hrs a day 365 days a year. As the only wholly owned Large Engine MRO facility with capability to maintain all modern Trent engines EOS is fundamental to the future success of Civil Aerospace.
Our Mechanics complete engine maintenance modifications and inspections on The Trent series of engines within the workshop facility. This is a workshop based role aimed to support engine build up mechanics by ensuring build kits are maintained as well as issuing parts controlling stock levels and assisting despatching unserviceable material back to vendors.
Responsibilities:
This role is primarily based around kitting and the successful candidate would expect to complete the following activities.
Inspection and component capabilities will be gained and maintained during Ad-Hoc requests and working contractual Saturdays.
The successful candidate can expect to work Mon-Fri on a 2 Shift pattern with contractual Saturdays applicable.
