Job Description
Our client is a leading global HVAC manufacturer looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to develop relationships with consultants and contractors across Manchester and the wider North West region.
This role involves promoting a comprehensive range of HVAC solutions including air handling units chillers fans close control systems and fan coil units into valuable commercial healthcare education and data centre projects.
You will be required to take ownership of a regional sales territory with annual targets exceeding 1.5M and manage projects with typical order values between 20k and 300k and a sales cycles of 6 18 months.
Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems including AHUs fans chillers heat pumps FCUs and air diffusion/distribution systems
- Proven track record in field-based sales via contractors and consultants or technical sales experience within the built environment
- Experience specifying HVAC equipment into varied projects such as commercial buildings hospitals schools and data centres
