Job Description

What will you be doing 

We are seeking an experienced Flowmaster Fluid Engineer with strong expertise in Flowmaster to support cutting-edge projects within the Nuclear sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class engineering programme contributing to the development of innovative and safety-critical technologies.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Perform advanced thermal analysis and flow simulations using Flowmaster.
  • Carry out pressure drop heat transfer and system performance calculations.
  • Develop and validate models to support complex system designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams (mechanical systems safety and integration).
  • Ensure all work is delivered to the highest technical and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to design reviews technical reports and project milestones.

Who are we looking for 

  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Flowmaster software.
  • Strong foundation in thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
  • Proven track record of delivering thermal and flow analysis within a technical engineering environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to safety-critical projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications :

Experience skills and qualifications required: 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in simulation and analysis roles.
  • Background in nuclear aerospace or similarly regulated industries preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes standards and design assurance processes.
