Job Description
Infrastructure Engineer - Plano or Reston VA
The client is only considering local candidates
CLIENT : Mortgage Client
START DATE: 2 Weeks
DUE DATE: 24 - 48 Hours

MUST HAVE
- Develop terraform modules
- Terraform Enterprise
- AWS
- Terraform Certified Preferred
Reston or Plano (but 3 days a week onsite at either location)
Interview process: Video then F2F (candidates must be committed to 2nd round onsite)
- Develop terraform modules
- Sentinel policy development
- Terraform Enterprise (not community version)
- Developed modules to be consumed by the applications
- Deep understanding of AWS
- Plus if the candidate is Terraform Certified
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain terraform modules in Terraform Enterprise Private Module Registry (PMR) to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Create and enforce Sentinel policies to ensure compliance and governance in infrastructure deployments.
- Perform system-level application analysis design development and unit testing.
- Resolve defects encountered during various testing cycles.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Solid knowledge of Terraform Enterprise module and Sentinel Policy development.
- Strong understanding of current programming languages and technologies to solve business needs.
- Proficient in HashiCorp Configuration Language (HCL) Familiar with GitLab CICD pipeline and Python programing is preferred
- Education and Work Experience:
- Professional certification(s) in AWS and Terraform is desired.
- 5-10 years of software development experience across the appropriate platform
