Job Description
3 months contract with local authority
Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking for a supportive and nurturing work environment Wirral Council is committed to providing the necessary support resources and flexibility for social workers to thrive in their roles. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a fair and manageable case load within both Assessment and Intervention and our Permanence teams
- Utilize agile working kit to work flexibly and remotely
- Access training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- Work in partnership with other professionals and engage in court work and direct family support using the supporting families enhancing futures model
Requirements
- Social Work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Relevant experience in social work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Commitment to continuous professional development
Requirements: Proven experience in quality assurance and reviewing services for children and young people Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory safeguarding requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to championing the rights and well-being of children and young people
