Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all refinishing work meets the highest technical standards.
Complete tasks correctly the first time to maintain productivity.
Prepare and paint vehicle areas per job requirements with accurate color matching.
Report any additional work required to the Body-shop Supervisor/Manager.
Record all materials used and time spent as per company procedures.
Strip and refit panels trims lights and minor components during the refinishing process.
Follow company policies procedures and health & safety regulations.
Requirements
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge:
Automotive refinishing processes (water-based solvent-based).
Prep methods priming color matching blending polishing.
Paint manufacturer specifications & refinishing standards.
Health safety and environmental regulations (PPE usage spray booth safety).
Skills:
Sanding masking priming color mixing spray painting finishing techniques.
Producing accurate blends and consistent high-gloss finishes.
Smart repairs panel spraying and full resprays.
Operation and maintenance of spray guns booths and drying equipment.
Stripping/refitting of panels trims lights and minor components.
Personal Attributes:
Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality.
Reliable punctual and self-motivated.
Effective team player able to work independently when required.
Positive solution-oriented mindset.
Maintains clean and safe working practices.
Communication Skills:
Clear verbal communication with supervisors and team members.
Good listener accurately following instructions.
Basic written communication for job sheets and internal documentation.
