Job Description
We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Design Manager to lead our fit-out projects in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our team you will oversee the entire design process for commercial and residential fit-out projects ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations and adhere to local regulations.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the design process for fit-out projects from concept to completion
- Lead and mentor a team of designers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
- Develop and maintain project schedules budgets and resource allocations
- Collaborate with clients architects contractors and suppliers to ensure project success
- Review and approve design concepts drawings and specifications
- Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and sustainability standards in Qatar
- Present design concepts and progress reports to clients and stakeholders
- Implement quality control measures throughout the design and execution phases
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovative design solutions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in interior design or fit-out projects with a focus on large-scale commercial or residential projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit or similar design software
- Strong project management skills with experience in budget management and team leadership
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Qatar
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g. PMP) preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
