Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the companys goals and objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities industry trends and competitive landscapes.
  • Define target markets customer segments and potential partnerships.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic partnerships alliances and joint ventures.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders including potential clients partners and industry influencers.
  • Network and build rapport at industry events conferences and through professional connections.
  • Represent the company professionally and effectively in external engagements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Sales Marketing Product and Legal to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives.
  • Assist and contribute to the business development team strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics for new business acquisition.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals and partnerships.
  • Track and report on business development activities pipeline progress and revenue generation.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to business development activities.
  • Foster a collaborative results-oriented and positive team environment.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends customer needs and competitive threats.
  • Analyze market data and provide insights to inform business development strategies.
  • Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development activities progress against goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities in relevant CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Sales or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Five to ten years of progressive experience in business development sales or strategic partnerships or operations with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes negotiation techniques and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Demonstrated success in building and sustaining effective relationships with diverse stakeholders including general contractors and executive leadership.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g. Salesforce HubSpot).
  • Ability to travel as required up to 50%

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical dental vision life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $108000- $160000annually. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
