Job Description

Amazon is looking for a smart and driven Instock Manager to support Mexicos Lifestyles Retail business. The Instock Manager will be responsible for driving inventory decisions and key supply chain initiatives for Mexicos fast-growing business. He or she will be responsible for developing and executing best practices in managing Global Store and NAFN channel.

A successful candidate possesses superb business judgment instock or operations management experience strong skills in working cross functionally and a track record of delivering results through others. He or she will excel in having strong analytical capabilities including experience generating and managing forecasts reports and analyses. The position requires an individual who can work autonomously in a demanding and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail and effective prioritization. This position will report to the Head of Instock in Lifestyles team.

Key job responsibilities
Areas of responsibility include:
- Generate mechanisms to evaluate graduation across channels.
- Deliver reports project updates and handling escalations
- Assist the head of instock for other projects to drive Supply Chain Excellence.
- Drive root cause analysis/reporting on operational issues develop action plans and project manage improvements
- Work with internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect graduation mechanisms or SCE issues.

A day in the life
The Instock Manager will focus on improving Free Cash Flow and topline based on channel management.
- Provides reports and data to Vendor Managers and Brand specialists managing risks and recommendations.
- Benchmarks other Amazon marketplaces to drive new programs that improve operational efficiency.
- Solves operational issues.
- Escalates issues and works with cross functional teams.

2 years of with Excel experience
2 years of supply chain inventory management or project management experience
Bachelors degree or certificate of completion of studies required
Fluency in English and Spanish

Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control
Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
SQL management
