What does a Therapist at ACC do
Provide crisis intervention individual group conjoint and family therapy.
Carries a client caseload not to exceed the appropriate number set by the Program Coordinator.
Works with people from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds in a treatment capacity.
Assess formulate and implement clinical assessments treatment plans.
Responsible for clinical case record-keeping for each case assigned in compliance with funding source requirements and procedural policies.
Attends regular clinical staff meetings and supervision for discussion of treatment of client cases.
Participates in in-service programs and seminars to increase skill level and improve service delivery to clients.
Maintain productivity of direct services at 60%.
Complete Peer Reviews and work in collaboration with the Quality Department to ensure the standards of the agency
Participates in 24 hours of Child Specific continuing education training per fiscal year if applicable.
What You Bring:
A Masters degree in Social Work or a related mental health field from an accredited institution.
Current licensure in Michigan (LLMSW LMSW LLPC LPC TLLP LLP or LP).
Strong communication assessment and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
Proficiency in computer systems for clinical documentation and reporting.
Bilingual in English & Arabic is desired but not required
