Job Description

PRTR is now working with a reputable property company in Thailand to find talent for the role of Data Governance. If you have expertise in data governance and strong communication skills this is your chance to work with an amazing team and company. You will gain experience in enterprise-scale products work and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing data governance frameworks policies and procedures to safeguard data assets following regulatory requirements (e.g. PDPA GDPR).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and improve data quality integrity and accessibility across the organization.
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with data governance policies and regulations.
  • Managing relationships with third-party vendors and partners to ensure the ethical and legal use of personal data.
  • Working with the People team to enhance data privacy awareness and training programs for employees.
  • Establishing protocols for data sharing agreements and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Evaluating and recommending data management tools and technologies to support data governance objectives.
  • Providing guidance and support during data breaches or security incidents involving sensitive data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Data Management Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (3 years) in data governance data management or a related field within the retail real estate or digital industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g. PDPA GDPR) and best practices in data governance and data management.
  • Experience in working with third-party vendors and managing data acquisition processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify data governance issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Certification in Data Management (e.g. CDMP) or other relevant professional certifications is a plus.
