Our client is a global consultancy delivering secure scalable mobile solutions across government and enterprise platforms. This role supports mobile app development for public sector initiatives using native and cross-platform technologies.
About the role:
We are seeking a Mobile App Developer with strong experience in native Android/iOS development and React Native. Youll be responsible for building accessible high-performance mobile applications integrating with APIs and services and contributing across the full SDLC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and release mobile apps for Android and iOS using Kotlin Java Swift Objective-C and React Native.
- Convert UI designs into mobile components and collaborate with UX/UI designers.
- Integrate with back-end APIs and services including Firebase and CMS platforms.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across mobile platforms.
- Create CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab Artifactory and HashiCorp Vault.
- Write automated unit integration and functional tests; collaborate with QA teams.
- Contribute across the SDLC: design development deployment code reviews and maintenance.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience in mobile app development across Android and iOS.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating mobile apps with APIs and cloud services.
- Strong testing and QA collaboration skills.
- Ability to work across all stages of the SDLC.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in early-stage mobile app development and tool selection.
- React and TypeScript development for web applications.
- Back-end development using Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Containerisation with Docker Kubernetes and Helm.
- Strong ownership adaptability and stakeholder collaboration.
- Experience in government or public sector environments.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship.
- Baseline or NV-1 Government Security Clearance.
