Job Description
- 10 years of program management experience with at least 5 years leading complex technical programs in machine learning or data-driven environments.
- Have led and scaled a team of product/program managers. Foster a culture of innovation accountability and continuous improvement. Provided mentorship and career development opportunities to team members ensuring they are motivated and equipped to meet their goals.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle from data collection data/model lineage to model monitoring including MLOps tools and techniques.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale projects ideally in Data ML/AI or software engineering contexts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business impacts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and risk management abilities with experience in agile methodologies.
- Ability to drive initiatives in fast-paced environments balancing competing priorities and managing ambiguity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to explain sophisticated technical topics to non-experts
- Familiarity or experience with MLOps frameworks and tools (e.g. Kubernetes MLflow Weights and Biases vertex AI and so on).
- Familiarity with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and model deployment strategies.
- Background in Data AI/ML data science or software development is a plus.
- Strong desire to learn aptitude for problem solving and the ability to make sophisticated trade-offs.
- Proficiency in multitasking and leading sophisticated programs with a track record in launching outstanding platforms to market.
- Experienced closely working with engineering leaders data science teams and other organizations to synchronize efforts and prioritize projects that improve product impact and value.
- Self-motivated independent and proactive; demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities; can quickly (realtime) triage prioritize and lead cross-functional teams under pressure
- Outstanding interpersonal skills including the ability to persuade and influence a diverse set of internal Apple and external public cloud partners
- Responsible for the entire product development lifecycle from concept through launch and beyond.
