About Your Workplace
Successful management and implementation of strategic central communication tasks with a focus on three specific areas:
1: Development of communications value propositions for major marketing campaigns and focus categories / product launches
2: Contribute to & manage of development of strategic campaign concepts for major product launches and campaigns
3: Gather cross functional commercial comms & cultural intelligence that contributes to the integrated comms brief
Key responsibilities:
COMMS VALUE PROPOSITION
- Work closely with & guide the cross functional Business Unit (BU) Content Research & Brand teams to develop single minded propositions that can be used in comms (all P.O.E touchpoints with a focus on ATL POS digital social).
- Act as a strategic interface between the BU and the central marketing team.
- Roll out & fine tune robust framework / methodology for development of CVP.
- Where required write and in collaboration with content team brief agency partners on CVP.
- Planning & facilitation of workshops to align cross functional team on CVP requirements.
CAMPAIGN CONCEPTS
- Working in tandem with the content team lead the creation of the brief for major campaigns executed by the Lead Creative Agency (LCA).
- Review and guide internal & external partners in the creation of successful campaign concepts that bring the Miele Brand & Creative Platform to life in distinct & premium ways.
- Management on-going analysis of relevant competitor / category / premium campaigns that also communicate to our comms audience.
- Where required assist VGs in creation of briefs for major launches within markets.
COMMS INTELLIGENCE
- Manage operational processes for the briefing application and understanding of comms impact across Mieles POE touchpoints.
- Work with & guide media content research and brand teams in strategic campaign analysis to inform subsequent approaches to strategy & activation.
- Develop robust & reasoned understanding of communication challenges opportunities & jobs to be done.

- Comms Value propositions defined for major launches.
- Campaign concepts contributed to increase in creative excellence.
- A new holistic approach to analysis & intelligence application in communications.
Key performance measures for position:
- Contributes to increase in brand KPIs / health.
- Increase in creative impact & effectiveness scores.
- Quality of agency briefs improves.
Competencies/Skills for position:
- Bachelor/Master (Philosophy History Marketing Economics or equivalent).
- 7 years experience as Communications / Marketing / Brand strategist.
- Some in-house experience preferred but not essential.
- Strong collaboration and alignment skills.
- Ability to put customer first in all decision making.
- High business acumen & strategic mindset.
- Experience developing integrated strategic work.
- Ability to operationalize clear strategic processes.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Self starting optimistic solution focused does not stumble when faced with challenges.
