As a Product Innovator Products you will be developing and guiding the design and development of the applications services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS/Azure services such as but not limited to IoT Hub AKS AKS EKS Lambda and Kubernetes and be proficient in backend development for applications and devices. This role will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and guide others in the team in delivering a modular reliable scalable and secure on cloud and on-premises solutions. The solutions may span across the domains of IoT Robotics Video Analytics Gen AI or other products within the group.
What you will do:
- Develop solutions involving multiple languages (Java C# Nodejs Golang Python R etc.) stacks and deployment scenarios (Cloud On-Premises Devices)
- Guide the architecture development and deployment of the cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure using managed cloud native services or traditional deployments.
- Design and implement scalable backend services to support real-time features for applications and devices ensuring high performance and low latency.
- Manage containerized services using AKS/EKS/GKE to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure seamless integration between the various component teams (E.g. front-end back-end mobile device)
- Define and maintain cloud development best practices including CI/CD pipelines cloud security and infrastructure automation.
- Ensure backend services are highly available and monitored for performance cost efficiency and reliability.
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide expertise in debugging efforts across both backend and application codebases ensuring code quality and system reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance scaling and security in a cloud environment.

- Scrum Leadership: Capable of acting as a Scrum Master facilitating daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and demos to ensure efficient workflow and team synergy.
- Functional and Object-Oriented Programming: Experience and proficiency in both functional and object-oriented programming paradigms utilizing languages such as JavaScript () Python or Java to create clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Software Design Patterns: Strong understanding of software design patterns and practical experience in applying them to software development projects. Ability to leverage patterns such as MVC Singleton Factory and Observer to enhance software architecture and solve complex design issues.
- Mobile Application Development: Working knowledge of mobile application development and deployment processes including familiarity with mobile frameworks and platforms which is considered a bonus.
- Databases and Data Structures: Strong working knowledge of various database systems (relational and NoSQL) and data structures essential for designing efficient data storage and retrieval solutions for high-performance applications.
- Requirements
- Have a language agnostic view to software development.
- Strong skillset that hinges on being able to learn new concepts tools and language when needed
- Ability to ramp-up and develop solutions in new languages with ease
- Extensive experience in Azure/GCP/AWS Cloud architecture and backend development
- Strong proficiency in 3 languages Java C# NodeJS Python especially in building backend services and serverless functions.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (AKS/EKS) Docker and other stacks.
- Expertise in building and scaling real-time applications.
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices including IAM VPC configurations and encryption.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
- Leadership experience with a focus on backend cloud infrastructure and service development is a good addition.
- Proficient in monitoring and performance tools like CloudWatch Prometheus and Grafana.
- Proficient knowledge of tools similar to JIRA Bitbucket SonarQube Postman SQL Workbench VS Code
- Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory)
- AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
- Familiarity with IoT development
- Familiarity with Robotics development
- Experience working with navigation or location-based applications.
- Familiarity with managing multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
