Elekta is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Romania. This is a home-based role with travel requirements throughout Romania and occasional travel outside the country. The engineer will be responsible for servicing all Elekta products within the region.
We will prioritize applications from the Cluj area of Romania.
What youll do at Elekta
Would you like to be part of our driven global team where we aim to attract and invite the best competences to Elekta We are offering you an exciting opportunity to join our Order Fulfilment & Service Organization.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to travel throughout Romania as required and as directed by the Regional Service Manager.
Responsibilities
Perform planned maintenance emergency corrective maintenance upgrades installation work courtesy calls and telephone support.
Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems including HT and RF power generation vacuum systems water systems pressurized gas systems and mechanical assemblies.
Ensure all work complies with Elektas safety instructions and procedures.
Report any issues affecting product reliability or personnel safety to the Service Manager.
Participate in training and assessments both in classrooms and on-site.
Guide and assess other engineers and provide feedback to the Service Manager.
Complete and submit relevant reports and documentation post-service.
What you bring
Minimum technical college or university degree in a related engineering discipline or equivalent.
Competence in IT technologies including Windows OS Microsoft Office and networking.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in a Medical Device service environment (experience with linear accelerators or brachytherapy systems is an advantage).
Proven ability to manage tasks independently.
Demonstrable commitment to Elekta and assigned responsibilities.
Valid Driving Licence.
Proficiency in English & Romanian (written and spoken).
