Job Description
The Medical Assistant is responsible for maintaining inventory ordering supplies and stocking the clinic. Under the medical oversight of a doctor the MA will coordinate and manage client care to include preparing clients for treatment and exams translation referrals documentation and performing routine specialized procedures.
Specialties: Family Practice Pediatrics and Psychiatry
Salary:
Level I - up to one year experience $20.00/hour $1.00/hour for certified MAs
Level II - 1 -3 years experience $20.00-$21.50/hour $2.00/hour for certified MAs
Level III - 3 years experience $26.00/hour $2.00/hour for certified MAs
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School diploma and certificate from an Accredited Medical Assisting Program
- Must complete internal credentialing and privileging within 90 days of hire date
- Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion
- Ability to provide culturally sensitive services
- Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records systems
- TB test Hep B Vaccine Immunization Records
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) trained or the ability to be trained within 90 days of hire date
- Basic Life Support trained
- Must possess reliable transportation valid drivers license and proof of auto insurance or sign waiver
