PURPOSE
This position is responsible for the daily operation oftheschool kitchen at a specified location which is yet to be Type: Full-Time typical 35-40 hours per week. Various locations are available.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Perform other duties as necessary to support the mission and vision of Columbia Public School District.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Reports To: Director Assistant Director and/or Field Supervisor of Nutrition Services
Supervises: Nutrition Services Cook/Cashiers
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED preferred; 3 years of experience in school food service or a related area. Must possess 3 or more years of Nutrition Services managerial experience. Able to relate positively to others pass the ServSafe exam and become certified endure repetitive assembly extreme hot and cold environments wet or humid conditions. Able to follow a recipe. Good personal hygiene. Able to learn computerized cashiering and other department specific software. Must possess friendly customer service skills.

Physical Demands: An individual who holds this position must have the ability to frequently walk short distances continuously stand frequently bend or twist at the neck and torso continuously grip Frequently reach stoop kneel and crouch frequently lift 10-25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds frequently use close and peripheral are essential functions of the job.
Attendance: Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Conditions and Environment: While performing the duties of this job the employee may occasionally work in temperatures that exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit and between 15-32 degrees Fahrenheit. The work environment is frequently quite loud; employees may need to raise voices to be heard. There is a greater than average risk of minor burns and are essential functions of the job.
