A rewarding and fast-paced full-time position for a proactive organized individual with a passion for cooking and children fluent in Spanish (English a plus) to join our team as Kitchen Manager.
We are a small family-owned business located in San Antonio Texas. We may be biased but we are pretty sure we have the best Early Childhood Centers around. They are Spanish Immersion schools which means that from the moment the children enter the building they are immersed in the Spanish language and culture of Latin America. We really believe that we are making a BIG impact on the future citizens of San Antonio.

Youll have your afternoons wide open. Theyre all yours. Your work hours will be from 7:00 am to 3:15 pm Monday through Friday.
Free food. All employees are welcome to eat lunch in the house. Our kitchen staff (that might be you) prepares a delicious home-cooked meal every day for the children and staff. Most of the meals are Latino like picadillo caldo de pollo and albondigas. Our Enchiladas are the crowd favorite.

Recipe Wizard: Read and execute recipes accurately while also adapting them to accommodate specific serving sizes and allergies.
Clean Freak: Ensure the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned every day maintaining impeccable hygiene standards as defined by the Health Department.
Friendly Food Runner: Deliver meals to classrooms with a warm and efficient approach ensuring that everyone receives their meals promptly and with a smile.
Inventory Chief: Place weekly food orders using established systems and ensure a well-stocked kitchen at all times.
Neat Freak: Categorize food items upon their arrival ensuring efficiency and ease of access in the kitchen.
Smooth Operator: Inspire our kitchen team and ensure smooth operations and a cheerful vibe throughout the day. Lead by example in tasks like chopping preparing snacks cleaning dishes distributing food and taking out the trash.
Team Player. Provide classroom support when food-related activities such as making playdough or pasta or boiling eggs are planned.
