Who We Are

The Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board (KPR) offers a world-class education for approximately 35000 students in 87 schools. Spanning over 7000 square kilometers across diverse rural and urban communities in southeastern Ontario. Qualifications Required

  • In Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or;Good Standing with Terms Conditions or Limitations (Transitional Certificate).
  • A police record check with a Vulnerable Sector Search and Pardoned Sexual Offenders Database Search dated within 6 months prior to the date of hire is a requirement for employment.
  • Senior Manufacturing Technology

This position is posted in accordance with L24.07.03 of the Collective Agreement. The successful candidate will bedeclared surplus for the following school year. If a teacher is partially surplus from a school the teacher will have the choice to:

remain at the school with their original FTE or

accept a position at a school on the Annual Staffing Day that matches their total FTE (including sections acquired after July 15th of the current school year).

Teachers with total FTEs greater than 0.5 will be able to remain at their current school for one semester where sections for which they are qualified are available.
