A Global Middle Office - SME is tasked to transition different Middle Office tasks from the Malaysia Business Unit.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform day to day operations for Trade Support Trade Matching Trade Settlement and Cash Management
functions.
Communicate investigate and resolve trade and cash queries and issues raised by Front Office (Portfolio
Managers/Traders) Brokers Custodians and Internal Investment teams.
Actively manages risks related to trades and cash to avoid failed settlement.
Perform periodic trade and cash reporting for Onshore counterparts
Improve business processes and controls to mitigate operational risks.
Identify weaknesses in workflows and assist to establish effective solutions.
Assist in assessing handling and resolving critical business and system issues raised during operations.
Support ad-hoc analysis to identify root cause of production problems and develop timely solutions.
Effectively communicate significant production updates and challenges to Manager in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance Economics or any related business-related
course
Minimum 5 years related work experience
Understands the concepts surrounding Trade Support functions and the trade life cycle middle office and trade
settlements and cash management experience is highly preferred.
Possesses a fundamental understanding of investment transactions trade lifecycle and various asset classes
Good working knowledge in using Bloomberg BBH Custodian platforms
Intermediate to advanced knowledge regarding Cash Management Data Management Pricing Settlements
Reconciliation Transactions Transfers processes
Knowledge in securities instruments operational processes and trade life cycle
Good analytical and diagnostic skills with knowledge and understanding of process design.

Strong investment markets and trades knowledge
Proactive and willing to thrive in a highly critical function.
Demonstrates strong flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations shifting demands and challenging work
environments.
Uses diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations. Escalates serious issues to the Manager.

The candidate must be willing to work on a morning shift schedule
