Position: Senior Cloud & Cybersecurity Engineer
Location: Malaysia (Hybrid role)
Salary: Industry-aligned and negotiable depending on experience

Primary Purpose
Ensure Wild Techs infrastructureand client environmentsare secure compliant and resilient. Design deploy and manage cybersecurity services across hybrid cloud/on prem systems. Lead Fortinet and Microsoft security stack implementations and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
Deploy/manage Microsoft and Fortinet security services: Azure Security Center Sentinel FortiGate FortiManager FortiAnalyzer.
Architect secure network designs: NSGs VPNs firewall policies.
Conduct vulnerability assessments threat modeling and remediation planning.
Implement IaC for security configurations (ARM Terraform Bicep).
Develop security automation via scripting (PowerShell Python).
Monitor security posture: alerts logs incidents response playbooks.
Maintain backups and DR plans focusing on security continuity.
Draft security architecture documentation runbooks and policies.
Train staff on cybersecurity best practices incident handling and secure design.
Execute security-related system changes with proper reviews and approvals.
Core Competencies
Fortinet security ecosystem
Microsoft cloud security: Sentinel Defender Azure security suite
Threat detection incident response vulnerability management
IaC with security compliance focus
Security monitoring and log analytics
Qualifications
Bachelors in CS Cybersecurity or equivalent
5 years Azure infrastructure with security emphasis
3 years Fortinet security experience
Proficiency in IaC tools (ARM Terraform) and scripting
Strong networking knowledge (VPNs firewall rules routing)
Monitoring experience with Azure Monitor Log Analytics
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred: AZ 500 AZ 104 Fortinet NSE4/5 certifications
