Description

Barker Associatesis an award winning multi-disciplinary property consultancy and trusted advisor offering Architecture and Design Project Management Surveying Engineering and Energy and Sustainability services to a wide variety of clients in the UK.

We currently have a vacancy open for anAssociate Bid Manager who is looking to develop their career leading bid processes within the organisation. This role will be based at either our Braintree Birmingham or London office where you will interact with multi-disciplinary teams across the business and ensure compliance within all relevant discipline standards and regulations. Subject to business requirements the role may be eligible for hybrid working.

Key Areas of Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Leading the Bid to Win process including bid plans bid tracking bid management information and bid query management
  • Responsible for full 360 bid process
  • Create bespoke contract winning proposals
  • Oversee track collate and write bids/proposals/tenders for new business opportunities and frameworks
  • Manage and correspond with Barkers clients to deliver their own public sector funding applications to secure monies for capital works and technical advisory services
  • Monitor changes in legislation to ensure bids align to funding rules


Requirements
  • Qualification to degree level and/or in Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) Practitioner level (desirable)
  • Advanced experience in construction consultancy/industry experience

Hours: Monday to Friday8:30am - 5:00pm
