Payroll Analyst Specialist
The successful candidate will have a results-oriented ad curious mindset with strong technical skills will work closelywith cross functional teams including developers solutions architects and business teams globally to developand implement solutions that are scalable; and will deliver excellence and value to our business partners successful candidate contributes to the overall success of the Payroll Time Attendance & Compensation/Global HR team ensuring specific individual goals plans initiatives are executed / delivered in support of theteams business strategies and objectives.
Accountabilities
Independently resolve complex multi-faceted problems to meet the business needs by applying their HRand technological knowledge to the design of methodologies models and/or systems solutions. This
may involve rapid prototyping with requirements and solutions developed on an iterative basis thatprovides interim deliverables until a final production solution is created. This includes conductingresearch and analysis accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes participating inthe reengineering of the HR business process workflows and liaising with the users.
Manage multiple small HR technology projects and/or manage specific sections of large projects toimplement technology solutions to HR business problems. This involves planning and schedulingresources developing detailed project plans monitoring progress against planned objectives andsecuring consensus and co-operation from users and senior management. Ensure each project deliversquality products/functions in a timely manner which meets HR business requirements and provides anenhanced employee experience.
Participate in the review of Quality Assurance (QA) test strategies for assigned projects/initiatives toensure the planned testing is comprehensive and consistent with the business requirements.
Participate in the systems implementation process by defining business/technical requirements andprocesses developing test strategies and test cases performing testing defining user procedures andworkflows developing conversion and implementation strategies verifying conversion providing userdocumentation providing user training and providing post-implementation support.
Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations internal policies and procedures.
The incumbent is responsible for ensuring that management is kept informed and that problems andissues are escalated appropriately.
Education / Experience / Skills
- Bachelors degree in human resources business information technology computer science or a related discipline along with 4-6 years of practical experience is required.
- Proficiency with SQL MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Preferred or Comparable 2 years of experience on SAP SuccessFactors and/or SAP Payroll on premise and/or ECP
- The systems developed are on-line real time mission critical applications to support the trading and risk management operations where the consequence of implementing functionally based on inaccurate requirements could expose the Bank to significant losses or undue risk.
- Well-developed verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and articulate the underlying message effectively with different audiences e.g. branch staff senior management in Information Technology Solutions internal business clients and external vendors.
- Working knowledge of project planning and project management with the expectation of developing a thorough knowledge within the first 12 months on the post including Waterfall and Agile Methodologies; Working knowledge of process methodology / mapping (modelling and charting workflows).
- The incumbent must also possess a very good understanding of current Electronic Data Processing practices systems development techniques including requirements specification and testing methodologies real-time analytical and formal modelling tools HR systems/processes and keep current with rapidly changing technology.
- Knowledge of Human Resource practices are required. Knowledge of processes and systems used within Human Resources Information Systems.
