Role Summary:

As a Catering Attendant you are responsible for ensuring expectational safety standards quality and presentation standards are met for Air Norths In-Flight Kitchen. The incumbent ensures daily meal production follows specifications and quantities while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Package take-out food
Portion and wrap foods
Prepare heat and finish simple food items
Stock refrigerators and salad bars
Use manual and electrical appliances to clean peel slice and trim foodstuffs
Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces cupboards storage areas appliances and equipment
Receive unpack and store supplies in refrigerators freezers cupboards and other storage areas
Wash peel and cut vegetables and fruit

Must haves:

Minimum 3 years commercial kitchen operations and some baking experience
Strong English communication skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to pass a background check for airport security clearance
Must have a valid Drivers License and be comfortable operating a cube van
Food Safe Level 1 certification considered an asset
Must be a Canadian citizen Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada
