Introduction
GlobalFoundries is seeking a strategic and hands-onHuman Resources Business Partner (HRBP)to support ourAPAC Customers & Markets Organization with a primary focus on teams located inChina Korea Taiwan Singapore and Japan. This role will bebased in Chinaand requires deep expertise inChinas employment laws compliance standards and local labor practicesto ensure effective and legally sound HR support.
As a trusted advisor to business leaders the HRBP will collaborate closely to driveorganizational effectivenessworkforce planning andtalent strategies while fostering ahigh-performance culturealigned with GlobalFoundries values and business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering impactful HR solutions and ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience across the APAC region.
Your Job
Partner with APAC Customers & Markets leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives enabling revenue growth market expansion and organizational capability building.
Collaborate with leadership to enhanceorganizational effectivenessthroughstrategic workforce planning talent management and change management initiatives.
Develop and fund strategies thatfoster a high-performance culturealigned with company goals and values ensuring engagement accountability and results.
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for China ensuring compliance with local employment laws regulations and GF policies.
Advise leaders on employee relations matters investigations and conflict resolution with an emphasis on risk mitigation and legal compliance.
Collaborate with global and regional HR teams to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across China Korea Taiwan Singapore and Japan.
Support talent acquisition strategies partnering with recruitment teams to attract and retain top talent in the APAC region.
Lead talent management processes including performance reviews succession planning and leadership development programs.
Partner with compensation and benefits teams to ensure competitive and compliant reward programs in the APAC region.
Oversee HR operational excellence including onboarding exits and HR data management.
Other Responsibilities:
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental Health Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in human resources Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred.
8 years of progressive HR experience including at least 3 years in a senior HRBP or equivalent leadership role.
Strong expertise inChina employment law labor relations and HR compliance practices.
Proven track record supporting regional or multi-country business units in APAC.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and build strong cross-functional partnerships.
Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.
Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
