Job Description

The Enrollment Management Systems Analyst will be responsible for supporting strategic operations and optimization of the Enrollment Management (EM) Divisions systems tools including Technolutions Slate. This individual will be a member of the EM Systems team and will provide support in day-to-day maintenance of the undergraduate Slate instance enhancing and expanding the use of tools for admissions and recruitment efforts. Specifically the ideal candidate will have experience building and managing portals. This individual will also support high-quality execution of projects including workflow and documentation builds.


The primary responsibilities are but not limited to:

  • General Slate Maintenance: Assist in the creation and refining of existing rules forms automation and associated queries; play a role in the updating of assets for annual Cycle Prep. Manage existing processes for ongoing record maintenance.

  • Portal Development: Assist in the development maintenance and updating of custom Slate portals that provide a seamless user experience for both internal users prospective students and external stakeholders (e.g. parents/guardians/families).

  • Application & Workflows Support: Assist in building revising and maintaining Slate-hosted applications as well as workflows related to application reviews and pre-college programs.

  • Dataset Management: Maintain and optimize Slate datasets such as Organizations and Organization Contacts ensuring data accuracy and clear processes for ongoing maintenance.

  • Documentation & Training: Assist in maintaining and stewarding of ongoing Systems documentation efforts; provide functional support and general training for Slate users.

  • Project Execution & Troubleshooting: Participate in summer project planning work with stakeholders as a solution architect to bring a project to life; act as a point person for Slate end-user support assist in the troubleshooting of issues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required background:

  • Bachelors degree

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a higher education admissions systems or operations role with a focus on CRM configuration

  • Experience with Technolutions Slate

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS; familiarity with liquid markup and UX design principles

  • Strong communication skills ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous process improvement

  • An interest in finding faster effective and more efficient ways to complete projects and tasks

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and work both independently and within a team environment

Preferred background:

  • Basic understanding of SQL programming language

  • Basic understanding of JavaScript principles

  • Knowledge of Workday SIS

This position is predominantly remote.

Compensation Range

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act the annual base salary range for this position is $61700.00 - $84300.00. This range represents the Universitys good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the positions scope and responsibilities the candidates experience education skills internal equity market data and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget qualifications and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation such as incentives stipends or other applicable pay components.
