Job Duties
Independently performs a variety of administrative activities in support of an executive management level professional. Work regularly requires discretion interpretation of policies procedures or processes and frequent interaction with federal state and local officials as well as private citizens. May provide guidance to staff in other offices or districts as an information resource or to assure quality and continuity of actions and information. Conducts research or assembles information and develops summaries.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Working knowledge of databases and filing systems
2. Knowledge of spreadsheets form letters business type letter writing techniques and/or technical documents
3. Ability to express facts clearly; verbally and in writing
4. Ability to effectively communicate (written/verbal)
5. Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
6. Ability to proofread official letters and suggest edits or wording changes to improve overall readability or subject clarification.
Additional Considerations
1. Experience in an administrative/office setting
2. Experience in ODW and or VDH administrative functions
3. Experience in paperless office and filing systems

This is a restricted position which is solely funded by the PWSS Grant for a year period ending June 30 2026. The availability of funding is scheduled for review annually and periodically thereafter. Continued employment is contingent on the continued availability of funds.
