Join Our Dynamic Team as an Inpatient Neurologist in Albany NY!
We are seeking a full-time Inpatient Neurologist to join our robust hospital-based neurology team in Albany New York. Our facility is a 400-bed Primary Stroke Center dedicated to providing exceptional neurological care within a mission-driven physician-led organization. This unique opportunity offers incredible flexibility allowing you to focus solely on inpatient responsibilities while achieving an excellent work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient neurological care with no outpatient or clinic responsibilities.
- Participate in a flexible work schedule: 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off.
- Manage a broad spectrum of neurological conditions including stroke epilepsy back pain brain tumors dementia neuropathies and movement disorders.
- Work closely with an integrated network of general and specialty neurologists for seamless patient referral and follow-up.
- Serve in a Primary Stroke Center designated facility.
- Collaborate within a physician-led team that prioritizes quality compassionate and team-based care.
- Utilize hospital support staff including neurodiagnostic services and subspecialist consultation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Neurology (REQUIRED).
- Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
- New York license (or willing to obtain) (REQUIRED).
- DEA certification (or willing to obtain) (REQUIRED).
- Must specify if visa support (J1 or H1B) is needed.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
- Board Certified in Neurology.
- New York State Medical License.
- DEA License.
