The Opportunity
When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs) you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services from Advisory to Assurance Tax and Business our innovative hubs youll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. Youll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Integration Architecture team you will lead and oversee the application packaging team delivering timely delivery of quality software packages. As a Manager you will motivate and inspire your team driving process improvements and delivering reliable application deployments across diverse platforms while managing complex projects and fostering skill development.

What You Must Have

Experienced and results-driven Application Packaging Manager / Lead with 10 years of expertise in software packaging deployment management and application lifecycle coordination within enterprise IT environments. Proven leadership in managing packaging teams driving process improvements and delivering reliable application deployments across diverse platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the application packaging team ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software packages (MSI MSIX App-V ThinApp and others) consistent with enterprise standards.
Develop and implement packaging strategies standards and best practices to optimize software deployment processes and support enterprise-wide software distribution initiatives.
Manage complex application packaging projects coordinating cross-functional teams including developers infrastructure security and support to ensure seamless application rollout.
Drive automation of packaging and deployment workflows through scripting (PowerShell batch) and tooling enhancements improving team efficiency and minimizing manual intervention.
Establish and maintain governance on application packaging including repository management version control and packaging documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
Oversee testing validation and troubleshooting of application packages in multiple environments; address packaging failures compatibility issues and deployment conflicts.
Collaborate closely with enterprise software deployment teams managing tools such as SCCM Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune for orchestrated application delivery.
Mentor and coach packaging engineers and associates fostering skill development knowledge sharing and adherence to packaging standards.
Monitor team performance resource planning and workload distribution to align with project goals and organizational priorities.
Stay updated on emerging packaging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve packaging processes and tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
10 years of experience in application packaging and deployment with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of multiple packaging formats including MSI MST MSIX App-V and application virtualization solutions.
Strong expertise in scripting and automation (PowerShell preferred) to streamline packaging testing and deployment.
Hands-on experience with enterprise deployment tools like SCCM Microsoft Endpoint Manager Intune or equivalent.
Proven track record in project management team leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with application compatibility testing troubleshooting complex installation issues and OS packaging integrations.
Experience implementing packaging standards governance and documentation processes within large scale IT organizations.
Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
