The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration patient care patient safety research quality improvement and teaching. The Department of Medicine Division of Gastroenterology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a multidisciplinary health care team providing a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the patients of the GI/Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Outpatient services team located in Milwaukee at Froedtert Hospital. The APP will be expected to work in a shared practice model with one or more faculty members as well as independently. The APP will be responsible for new and follow-up visits in-basket management TPN management and evaluating other acute patient issues. Position Requirements: Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Masters Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant Preferred Experience: Experience with gastroenterology & IBD patients in an ambulatory setting
Physician Assistant: Bachelors Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies
